NexSAN SATABeast and SATABeastXI

As I mentioned in the previous blog, NexSAN Technologies has two solutions that support 42 drives in 4U.

The first being the NexSAN SATABeast, up to 42TB in a single chassis with the current 1TB SATA Drives. Choice of single or dual controller. Dual function Fibre Channel and iSCSI connectivity with wire-speed performance. Flexible, scalable and completely OS independent, SATABeast easily supports a broad range of storage infrastructures.

SATABeast from Nexsan are the first high performance, high capacity RAID storage systems to also offer the energy saving benefits of AutoMAID™ technology. NexSAN has also introduced the SATABeast Xi . Almost identical to that of the SATAbeast other than that the NexSAN GUI and Fremont panel are different.
The SATABeast Xi is no different from the SATABeast other than it is ideally suited for the Mac world. The GUI fells like a Mac GUI. The SATABeastXi has been endorsed by Apple user worldwide.

The SATABeast Xi user interface provides access to your system from any standard Web browser including Safari or any host computer directly or via a LAN or WAN. The SATABeast Xi GUI is platform independent and requires no software or patches.
