NAS for the SMB Market

There are numerous manufacturers of NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions that incorporate Microsoft's Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003 (WUDSS) as their software engine.

The competition tends to incorporate a server at the head with a RAID controller or perhaps software RAID. Here NexSAN is somewhat different. Sure the operating system resides on the head - but that's where we part from the competition. Every NexSAN storage array includes a choice of a single or dual RAID controller. As we add another RAID box, we add another RAID controller. Perhaps you add a:

• NexSAN SATABeast or
• NexSAN SASBoy or
• NexSAN SATABoy

Each NexSAN box has it's own fast controller and a choice of SATA or SAS drives, ensuring that the NAS will not chug along but rather performance will increase as you add more Fibre Channel connected storage.
